Animation Line Producer Description
Melbourne, Australia – We are currently on the look out for an Animation Line Producer to join our team. The Line Producer will be working with the Producer, clients and the animation team from pre-production to the end of the animation process including post production on series based animation production. They also require a clear understanding and experience in the production of Childrens’ content.
The position is responsible for delivering shows on schedule and within the budget.
Start Date: Early 2017 Location: Melbourne, Australia

The Line Producer, will be tasked with streamlining production workflow and working with key departmental leads to ensure quality and stay on schedule. Liaise daily with external and internal clients and staff ensuring submissions and approvals are managed accordingly.
Provide status reports to external clients and the Producer. Line Producer will be expected to work on multiple projects.
Participate in client & production meetings with production teams both internal and external.
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in film, art, communications or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in line producing, with emphasis on 2D animated media and a thorough understanding of series based 2D Animation production pipeline from development to post-production. International co-production within a 2D Animation and Childrens’ content sector experience is necessary, including experience in voice records, cast & casting related tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a requirement. Associate Producers in the Childrens’ content space or similar skilled individuals looking to extend in to broader production experience welcome. Script knowledge and writing experience in Childrens’ content is a must.
Excellent organisational and project management skills required.
Exposure to digital animation pipelines and ‘cut out’ 2D animation pipelines a positive. Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel a requirement. Must have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who can be fast on their feet in problem solving within a creative environment, with the ability to work within tight deadlines and work with people of varying skill and creative, technical and experience on a day to day basis. Knowledge of 2D animation Production Tracking Systems is an advantage.
