Nelvana, Studio Moshi Turn ‘The Day My Butt Went Psycho’ Andy Griffiths’ Book Series in to a Cartoon Series

Andy Griffiths‘ popular children’s book series The Day My Butt Went Psycho will be produced as an animated comedy series from Canadian cartoon factory Nelvana and Australia’s Studio Moshi.

The Scholastic books will be turned into Zack & Deuce, a Canadian-Australian co-production with the 2D animated series for kids ages 6 to 11 portrays Zack and his best friend, Deuce, who happens to be his newly detached butt.

Zack & Deuce already has been sold to Canada’s Teletoon and Australia’s Nine Network. Andrew Davies, the Managing Director of Studio Moshi and Australian Producer of the series, is handling the sales in Australia.

In some territories, including Australia, the series will be released as The Day My Butt Went Psycho.
